Our Mission

In small towns and major cities, the Church is more present than most realize — but mostly unknown to the faithful. Nave reveals the Catholic life already in your neighborhood. The visible Church in clear view.

Nave's Origin Story

When my wife and I graduated college, we left behind something we didn't appreciate until it was gone: a real Catholic community. Daily Mass with friends, a campus ministry that shaped us. Then my first job took us somewhere new, and the cultural gap was huge. We went from a place where the faith was just part of life to somewhere we had to start from scratch, wondering where the other young Catholics even were.

So we started searching for somewhere to settle. And pretty quickly we noticed something: Catholic neighborhoods are popping up all over the country. Young families moving in on purpose, to live in community. Bridgeport in Philly. Hyattsville outside DC. And it hit us — where to plant roots, where to raise kids, is one of the biggest decisions a young Catholic couple makes. And there's no real tool to help them make it.

As we did our own searching, the same eight institutions kept showing up in every strong community: parishes, missionaries, campus ministries, classical schools, retreats, pilgrimage sites, vocations, and Catholic-owned businesses. Wherever a few of these clustered, real community was happening.

That's where Nave comes in.

Nave helps young Catholics find these neighborhoods as they decide where to settle. The Church is more connected than people realize — these networks exist all over the country, but only a small slice of plugged-in Catholics know how to find them. If we can put those eight indicators on a map, we solve a real problem for the next generation starting out.

Nave isn't the Benedict Option. We're coming to renew historic cities like Philadelphia and San Francisco. We're making the visible Church visible again.

About the Founders

Head of Product

When deciding where to raise a family, one thing became clear: proximity to strong Catholic community matters. But finding that community — the right parish, school, and network of support — proved surprisingly difficult. From young adults leaving campus ministry to families putting down roots, Nave helps Catholics find where they belong.

Head of Go-to-Market

Missionary life with FOCUS meant journeying with students and families through the highs and lows of faith. But one challenge kept surfacing: helping people find where they belong in the Church. Whether in a foreign country or a new neighborhood, the search for Catholic community shouldn't be a barrier to encountering Christ. Nave removes that barrier.
